The day you decide to start meditating will be the day on which you bring about one of your most important turning points in your life. Even a few minutes a day can make a remarkable difference to your entire experience of, and look at, your existence. Your profession, your work, your relationships, your life mission, your feeling and much more.
Many people start meditation and after a while stop with it because their full day schedule and agenda are calling and they feel that meditation does not bring them any or enough harvest. And if you start with setting this type of goals your intention is not right and indeed meditation will offer you nothing. Waste of time. So go on running till...
Out of the 1440 minutes in your day can’t you grant yourself this personal gift every day. Without the basic intention to reach a kind of measurable SMART goal? Enjoy the trip instead of the destination. What is your life all about? Are you the manager of your own life? Do you know yourself? Do you really respect yourself?
Meditation is a life process (never to reach the destination but to enjoy the journey) that you learn by doing and making it a habit. The profits will prove to be much more in terms of health, insight and happiness than you ever could have set as your goal.
Training your mind
Meditation is training the mind. The real significance of meditation is inner transformation throught training the mind, which is a really exciting adventure.
It is a pity to underestimate the capacity we have to transform our mind. Each of us possesses the potential needed to free ourselves from the mental states that perpetuate our own suffering and that of others - the potential to find out our own inner peace and contribute to the wellbeing of ourselves and the welfare of others.

The past is history, the future a mystery (even though you think you can organize it), the present can be a present, a gift, when you are aware.
The present is the only thing that has no end.
You have an appointment with life. There is only one goal in life called ‘LIVING’. The only moment you can touch life is NOW, in this present moment. So when you miss the present moment, you miss your appointment with life.
Stop or diminish your suffering. You deal with about 60.000 thoughts a day. 95 % of this thoughts are thoughts you already had yesterday.
Think about all your suffering in your life. Did all your suffering serve you in your life so far? If not, or sometimes not, you wasted only time and used wonderful energy of yourself making yourself only feel sad/sick and missing the opportunity to serve with your uniqueness the world around who is waiting for you.

Do not worry. Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span? Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself.
Autumn is a second spring were every leaf turns into a flower.

If you accept, accept! So at that moment ‘things’ are not there and not bothering anymore. You stop complaining and talking about it, intoxifying youself and your environment, for ever.
